What should I be monitoring?

It is up to you to decide which counters to configure; however, we recommend the following basic counters as a minimum, as well as some optional counters you can configure.
Minimum performance counters

Description |

Memory |
Place a high water mark on memory consumption. This depends on your project configuration and a good way to determine the right level is to analyze your historical memory usage. |

Hard disk |
It is a good idea to check that log files do not fill up the hard drive. |
|
CPU |
Set up a performance counter to monitor CPU usage. |
