Planning record state properties

Refer to the following table for the key configurable properties of Planning record state.

State Behavior properties

DisplayBackColor

The background color to display in the client when the Planning records are in this state.

Any color in the selection list

LimitNumberRecords

Specifies whether there is a limit on the number of records that can be in this state.

For example, you could specify that only five records can currently be in the Available status. In that case, you would set the limit to True and the MaximumRecordCount to 5.

Note: It is possible for only one record to be in the Active state at any given time. This value is not changeable.

MaximumRecordCount

If there is a limit, this property specifies the maximum number of records that can be in this state.

StateChangeInitiation

Specifies the permitted type of state change initiation.

When using state transition items under a Planning reporting point that are configured to trigger, this property must be set to Automatic or Both.

Automatic, Manual, Both

StateTransitionMenuText

Specifies the text to display when records are transitioned to this state.
