Generate an install script package

Before generating an install script package, make sure that you have completed this task:

• Add and configure a CLR Stored Procedure Host connection

  Note: Check that you have saved any default properties in Studio before you generate the install files.

To generate an install script

1. Right-click the Stored Procedure Host item, and choose Generate Install Files.

   

2. On the Save As dialog box, choose a directory and enter a file name for the zip file.

   

3. Click Save.

   

   After you have generated the install script files, place them on the target server. Then extract the script and the dlls and run them against the SQL Server that is installed on the server.

4. Register the script file in SQL server.
