Inventory processes material movements and records the balance of material at configured pieces of equipment. You can configure each equipment item to behave differently for queuing behavior, meaning how the lots enter and leave the equipment.

Types of queuing behavior for Lots moving in and out of equipment items:

• FIFO – First In First Out

• LIFO – Last In First Out

• Selective – You can select the lot that enters or leaves the equipment item.

• Mixed – Material that is moved into this equipment is mixed with other material and can no longer be discerned.
