A threshold value enables you to configure a Boolean value as a threshold. If the threshold value is True, any sample that is False is considered to be out of threshold. If the threshold value is False, any sample that is True is considered to be out of threshold.

  • The Data Type of a threshold value item is Boolean. Therefore, this property does not appear in the property panel.

  • When a material field specification contains a threshold value, it cannot contain a threshold range or specification limits item at the same time because these items have numeric data types.

How it looks in the grid

The threshold colors display in the Production Analyst results grid to inform operators of out-of-threshold data.

To add a threshold value

You can add only one threshold value item to a material field specification.

  1. Right-click the relevant material field specification and select Add Threshold Value. A new threshold value item appears.
