With appropriate permissions, you can record a material movement with the Material Movement wizard. This enables you to add any material movements that AVEVA Production Management does not automatically capture. After processing, the new manual movement records are visible in Inventory views such as the Movement view and Movement Events view.
Note The wizard accepts both work centers and work units as the source or destination equipment location.
To add a material movement manually
You can add a material movement with the Material Movement Wizard. It guides you through each step to add a material movement.
Because the wizard prompts you with different screens according to your input, it is not possible to describe step-by-step procedures for each possible combination of prompts that the wizard can present. Instead, the following information explains each screen that you might encounter.
-
Switch to the Inventory module.
-
On the Event editor, click the drop-down arrow for Add Event, and select Material Movement Wizard. The Material Movement Wizard appears.

-
Complete the information in each screen as the wizard prompts you. There is no defined order through the wizard, so see the following information sections for screens that may appear.
