The MoveMaterial method enables you to insert ad-hoc, routine, and dynamic material movements through web services.
We recommend using SubmitData method over MoveMaterial method.
Notes

Ad-hoc - An ad-hoc material movement is a one-off movement.

Routine - A routine movement is based on a preconfigured template for a material movement that exists in your project.

Dynamic - A dynamic material movement allows source and destination to be configurable by expression.
If you want to use custom fields, choose a preconfigured movement.
The AVEVA™ Production Management credentials authenticate a user who has permissions to view the configuration items involved in the movement; for example, Materials, Work Centers, and Material Movement items.
