Duplicate data in the Results grid

Some record types allow record duplication. You can duplicate a record in the Results grid and use that record as basis for a new record. When you use the Duplicate option, the new record automatically appears in a new Add form. Edit the details and then click Add to create a new record.

Note The Add Record permission is required to use this feature.

These record types allow record duplication:

• Downtime

• Energy

• Maintenance

• Process Quality

• Material Quality

• Production

• Planning

• Lot

• Lot Group

• Movement

To duplicate a record

1. Right click a single record and click Duplicate.

   Note The Duplicate feature will not be available if you have multiple records selected.

   

   The details of the record appear in an auto-populated new record.

2. Review details of new record, modify if needed, then click Add.

   

Excluded fields

When duplicating records, these fields are excluded:

• IsDeleted

• Confirmed

• ConfirmedBy

• ConfirmedDateTime

• CreatedBy

• CreatedDateTime

• RecordDateTime

• HasPendingChanges

• IsFinalized
