Update Virtual Downtime through web services

You can update manual virtual downtime records through the web service. Only manually-added virtual downtime records can be updated.

The Eff.% field is disabled in automatically added records to stop the field being updated by users. If a user tries to update an automatically-added record from the web service, they receive an error message.

To update a manual Virtual Downtime record through web services

1. Each record in AVEVA™ Production Management is associated with "Row Id", enter the "Row Id" in Merge Criteria field to select a particular record.

2. Enter Start Time, End Time, and updated Eff.% field values and invoke the Submit Data method to update the record.

   

   The Manual Virtual Downtime record is updated in AVEVA™ Production Management with updated Eff.% and Eff. Duration values.
