View the Metrics X-bar chart

You can use the X-bar chart in situations where you measure output in terms of a variable such as height or weight. The X-bar chart only plots one point per configured samples series. Each point displayed is the mean for the values contained in the sample series. For example, if you were to look at a weeks’ worth of KPIs by shift, there would be 21 records. If the sample size were 3, then only 7 points would appear on the chart, with each point representing the day. The chart shows the Upper Control Limit (UCL) and Lower Control Limit (LCL) calculates them as plus and minus three standard deviations respectively.

  2. In the Location pane, select a location in the Plant hierarchy that contains a Metrics reporting point. The data in the results grid updates to reflect that location.
