Add and configure an accumulator variable

You can add accumulator variables to either an Applications folder or the Material Movements folder.

To add an accumulator variable

1. Right-click an Applications folder or the Material Movements folder, point to Add Item, point to Variables, then click Accumulator Variable. A new accumulator variable appears.

   

2. Rename the accumulator variable. This is the name that refers to the accumulator variable from elsewhere in the project.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Accumulator variable properties.
