This topic is a continuation from Part 3: Configure the Energy Consumption reporting point items. The goal is to configure the kWh per tonne metric.

Part 4: Configure the Energy Metrics reporting point items

In this portion, you configure the kWh per tonne metric. You configure the Energy Metrics reporting point items: kWh per tonne, Total kWh, and Total tonnes.

Configure the Metrics formulas

• Create the kWh Consumption and Total Tonnes formulas under the Metrics configuration item in the System Configuration folder.

  

• Specify the Expression property for each formula:

  kWh Consumption	kWh
  Total Tonnes	Tonne

• Create a third formula called kWh per Tonne.

  

• Specify the Expression property for the kWh per Tonne formula. Note that this formula points directly to the previous two formulas that we created.

The three Metrics KPIs point to these formulas.

Configure the kWh per tonne KPI

• Point to the kWh per Tonne formula to specify the Formula property for the kWh per tonne KPI.

Configure the Total kWh KPI

• Point to the kWh Consumption formula to specify the Formula property for the Total kWh KPI.

Configure the Total Tonnes KPI

• Point to the Total Tonnes formula to specify the Formula property for the Total Tonnes KPI.

Configure the resolvers

• Expand the kWh per Tonne KPI so you can see the two new resolvers. Point these to the other two KPI items.

•  Specify the Action and KpiItem properties for the kWh resolver.
