Calculated Inventory source fields

There may be scenarios where you want to perform a calculation on Inventory quantity to convert it to a different quantity. The source field represents the incoming material quality.

For example:

  • The incoming material is wet. You want to use dry quantity in calculations, instead of wet quantity.

  • The incoming material is a different density at one heat than another heat.

For more information, see Add and configure a Calculated Inventory source field.
