Add and configure the web data server

AVEVA™ Production Management uses web-based technology to provide much of its functionality. The web data server handles specific data requests and responses.

You can add a Web data server to the System Configuration folder.

To add a web data server

1. In Studio, right-click the System Configuration folder, point to Add Item, then point to Configuration, and click WebDataServer. A new WebDataServer item appears with a sub-item called NotificationProcessor.

   

2. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Web Data Server properties.
