Add and configure a Recipe Download action

Recipe Download action contains the instructions to download a recipe to SCADA points in the equipment. Recipe Downloads appear under the Actions folder of the Planning reporting point.

Note: Recipe downloads are not triggered by automatic planning state transitions.

UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION

  • Engineer your project to make sure that you verify that the recipe is successfully downloaded on all PLCs prior to initiating any operation on that recipe.

  • Be aware that closing the client does not cancel the download operation, since the download of recipes is an operation that is performed on Server.

  • Make sure that there is distinct segregation between the test environment and the production environment.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

To add a Recipe Download action

  1. Right-click the relevant Planning reporting point, and click Add Download Tag. A new download tag appears.

  2. Rename the Recipe Download tag with a meaningful name.

  3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Recipe Download properties.
