Display the Planning Material Requirements view

The Material Requirements view is a Planning view that shows the material requirements for an Inventory plan. It is a read-only view.
A material requirement is a requirement for an amount of material to be consumed or produced at a location. In the process of planning Inventory operations, it is often necessary to plan the requirements for consumption and production of materials within the production process. This is done to make sure that upstream processes are able to produce enough materials.
Material requirements that belong to a deleted plan are also deleted. You can still add and update Material requirements to a deleted Planning record.
To display the Planning Material Requirements view

Switch to the Planning module.

In the Location pane, select the location that contains the Planning reporting point.

In the View selection pane, under View, select PlanningReportingPoint - Material Requirements to see the Material Requirements view for that reporting point.
