Weighted average lot behavior

An equipment item with a lot behavior of WeightedAverage has the following characteristics:

• The equipment item tracks lots. For the characteristics of a equipment that tracks lots, see About lot behavior.

• A material movement from the equipment can be quantity-based. For a quantity-based movement, you specify the quantity of material to move. AVEVA™ Production Management moves the material in weighted amounts from each lot.

• For weighted average movements, AVEVA™ Production Management moves remnant lots first, and then the remaining lots are moved in weighted amounts.
