Matching criteria

The matching criteria item enables AVEVA™ Production Management to match two pieces of relevant data together using filters to find a unique match.

For example, you can configure a matching criteria item to match a material movement, or its constituent material flows to a plan and its constituent material requirements.

The configured filters and the links to planning reporting points and material movement items are used by an internal matching service to find a unique match between movements and plans, or material flows and material requirements, depending on the choice of matching strategy.

The matching criteria item enables you to compare the details of planned events with actual events.
