A Metrics KPI defines the algorithm and data that feed into a dashboard. A Metrics reporting point contains Metrics standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. At the reporting point, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields.
For aggregating data, carefully consider your strategy for naming custom fields. For custom field limits, see Limits on custom fields.

Standard KPIs (fields)
-
The standard field definitions for the Metrics reporting point reside under the Metrics configuration item in the System Configuration folder.
-
The LocationIdentifier standard field is visible under the Fields folder of each Metrics reporting point.
