Convert Applications folders

New folders have taken over some of the roles of the Applications folder. A good practice is to convert the Applications folders of your plant hierarchy to the new folders where it is relevant to do so.
You can convert Applications folders to the following items:
In converting Applications folders, you maintain the structure of the ISA-95 Equipment Hierarchy Model. For example, you can convert an Applications folder to a Site folder if the Applications folder is in the Enterprise folder.
The parent node of an Applications folder determines what you can convert the Applications folder to. The following table describes the conversion scenarios.

To convert an Applications folder

Right-click the Applications folder. The parent node of the folder determines the commands that appear on the menu.

Click the command that you require. AVEVA™ Production Management replaces the icon for the folder to confirm the conversion.
