The Downtime reporting point item is responsible for capturing Downtime data. Downtime can capture two types of downtime:
-
Real downtime - Real downtime captures when a piece of equipment or a process is 100 percent down, that is, not producing.
-
Virtual downtime - Virtual downtime captures when a piece of equipment or a process is producing at less than target production levels.
A single Downtime reporting point can have many capture conditions, including a mix of real and virtual conditions.

A Downtime reporting point contains the following elements you can configure:
-
Capture conditions - The condition for when to capture data.
-
Split conditions - The conditions for automatic splitting of the current downtime.
-
Fields - The downtime data to capture and the fields in which to store the data.
-
Masks - The downtime events that mask this downtime reporting point.
-
Rules - Highlighting rules that apply coloring to data results in client.
