Enable routing on your IIS Server

The mail server item appears automatically beneath the System Configuration folder. In addition to specifying the SMTP mail server properties, you may be required to enable routing on your IIS Server.

Enable routing on your IIS Server

  1. Right-click the Windows icon on the taskbar and select Computer Management.

  2. Expand Services and Applications.

  3. Expand Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  4. In the center panel under Connections, select the server item in the hierarchy to give focus to its sub-components in the right panel.

  5. Right-click SMTP E-mail and click Open Feature.

  6. On the Advanced Delivery dialog box, under Smart host, type the name of the network mail server.

  7. Click Apply.
