EquipmentId |
The unique identifier for the equipment that the item represents. If you do not assign an equipment ID to the item, AVEVA™ Production Management checks each subsequent parent folder and uses the first equipment ID that it finds. |

EquipmentIdentifier |
The unique identifier for the equipment from an external system. For example, equipment in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the EquipmentIdentifier property so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP equipment. The EquipmentIdentifier cannot be the same as any other EquipmentIdentifier or LocationIdentifier. |

Period Hierarchy |
The hierarchy of period definitions for this folder and its children. Click Browse (...) to open the Period Hierarchy Editor. Select the time periods to include in the defined Period hierarchy. The Period hierarchy you define for this item is used as the default when items and sub-items are processed. Leave the Inherit from Parent check box selected to inherit these values from parent, or clear the check box to define for this item.

The class that this item and children are associated with. A Class Association associates custom properties associated with the class. You can associate this equipment with an equipment class. Click Browse (...) to open the Class Association dialog box, and choose from the list of available defined classes. The piece of equipment belongs to this class and displays custom property definitions in the Properties pane.
