Downtime split condition

  • Last UpdatedSep 05, 2022

Split conditions define circumstances under which an open Downtime event is to be automatically split into two separate events. Most splits are performed manually by operators or supervisors in Production Analyst, however the use of split conditions enables automatic splitting of events.

Example: Splitting a Downtime event

Let's say a Downtime event happens across a shift change. If a Downtime event occurs between 4:00pm and 7:00pm and there is a shift change at 5:00pm there may be good reasons to log the downtime as 1 hour against the first shift and 2 hours against the second shift.
