AVEVA™ Production Management

Step 1: Add and configure an equipment template

  • Last UpdatedApr 04, 2025

Before you set up templates, do the following:

  • Set up equipment classes. After you create the template, associate a template with a certain equipment class.

  • Define custom properties for the equipment class.

Guidelines

  • You can add templates only to the main Template node in the root node of the project. With templates in one location, AVEVA™ Production Management makes it easier for you to organize and maintain templates.

  • You can add as many templates as you want to the Template folder.

To add an equipment template

  1. Right-click Templates and click Add Equipment Template. A new equipment template appears.
