Set up record work order requests
AVEVA™ Production Management uses the following elements to set up Maintenance to record work order requests.
The business sets up this table in an OLE-DB compliant database, exports data from its EAM system to the table, and makes the table available for AVEVA™ Production Management to read from and insert data into. |
The work order table specifies the name of the external work order table to which AVEVA Production Management connects. AVEVA™ Production Management uses the work order table to read from and insert data into the external work order table. |
You assign equipment IDs to locations. AVEVA™ Production Management populates a work order request with the equipment ID of the location where the work order request is initiated. |
You assign originator IDs to users. AVEVA™ Production Management populates a work order request with the originator ID of the user who initiates the request. |

The Planning reporting point item is the main element for capturing Planning data. |
