Check and reconfigure

After you restore the project configuration to the production server, you may have to reconfigure the project connections to connect to the production environment, instead of the test environment.

Some items to consider:

• SCADA data sources

• OLE-DB data sources

• IIS Web Server URL

• Data Repository

Resolve any changes between backup and restore

If any changes occur on the running server after you make the backup, there could be mismatches between the current data and data being restored.

Peform any version-specific upgrade tasks

If you upgrade through several released AVEVA Production Management versions, you may have to perform the version-specific upgrade tasks that are associated with each release. For more information, refer to Version-Specific Upgrade Notes.

Note: Perform some version-specific tasks before you upgrade and some tasks after the upgrade procedure.
