Add and configure a recipe parameter

You can define the possible recipe parameters and ranges. When you decide how to organize and categorize your parameters, consider that there are Recipe Schemas and Machine Recipe Schemas. We recommend that you separate ingredient parameters and machine parameters.

Guidelines

• You can organize the parameters into parameter groups and parameter families.

• You can add as many parameters as you require to a parameter group.

To add a parameter

1. Right-click the Parameter Group, and click Add Parameter. A new parameter appears.

   

2. Rename the parameter with a meaningful name and repeat for as many parameters as you require.

   

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Recipe parameter properties.
