The Energy reporting point item is responsible for capturing Energy events. An energy event occurs when the actual consumption rises above target consumption. A single Energy reporting point can have one capture condition.

Elements

An Energy reporting point contains the following elements you can configure:

  • About the Energy capture condition - The condition for when to capture data. In the case of Energy events, there is only one capture condition, the Overconsumption capture condition.

  • Split conditions - The conditions for automatic splitting of the current energy event.

  • Fields - The fields to store the contextual data in.

Other guidelines

The standard fields, OverConsumption, LocationIdentifier, Effect, Cause Location, Cause, Classification, and Comments are visible at the reporting point level of each Energy reporting point.

The standard field definitions for the Energy reporting point reside under the Energy configuration item in the System Configuration folder.
