Add and configure a Production reporting point

The Production reporting point manages how you want AVEVA™ Production Management to capture Production data.
A Production reporting point contains the following items that you can configure:

Capture conditions - The conditions that specify when to capture Production data.

Fields - What production data to capture and what fields to store it in.
Guidelines

The LocationIdentifier standard field is visible at the reporting point level of each Production reporting point.

The standard field definitions for the Production reporting point reside under the Production configuration item in the System Configuration folder.
To add a Production reporting point
Before you add a Production reporting point, consider possible reporting point locations.
Note: When you add a Production reporting point to your project, check that you add it in the correct location of the project hierarchy.

In Studio, right-click a folder in the plant hierarchy, point to Add Item, point to Reporting Points, and then click Production. A new Production reporting point appears.

Rename the reporting point with a meaningful name.
