Install the data curator component

By default, installation of the data curator component are included as part of the full installation option when installing AVEVA Production Management. If you don't want to install it, use the custom install option to exclude the feature.

If you have an AVEVA Production Management application on your computer without the data curator, you can use the Change install option to install it either from the Windows Control Panel Programs and Features or by running the installer again.

Important: You must have administrator privileges to install the data curator component.

To install the data curator component using the Change install option

1. Double-click the AVEVA Production Management Setup.msi file.

2. On the Welcome screen, click Next.

3. On the Change, repair, or remove installation screen, select Change.

   

4. On the Custom Setup screen, select the Production Management Curation Services, and then click Next.

   

5. Verify that the server prerequisites are installed, then click Next.

6. On the Service Account screen, reenter your password for the service account, then click Next.

   

7. On the Ready to change screen, select Change.

8. When the change operation is complete, click Finish.

   You see the Production Management Data Curator service in the Services window and the Production Management Data Curation Configuration tool shortcut link from the Start menu, under the AVEVA folder. Run the curation configuration tool to configure the data curator and AVEVA Events to CONNECT agent. For detailed configuration steps, refer to Configure the data curator component.
