History recovery for on-premises data

The AVEVA Events to CONNECT agent supports recovering data using the HistoryOnly data collection mode setting in the agent's Configurator plugin. By default, the DataCollectionMode value is set to CurrentWithBackfill. When there are connection disruptions, data source issues, or agent shutdowns, the agent automatically fills in data gaps for up to four days.

To perform history data recovery, complete these two tasks:

1. Configure data collection mode for history recovery

2. Recover on-premises historical data
