Notifications Window

Displays the Notifications windows populated with all the notifications published by AVEVA PRO/II Simulation and/or AVEVA Process Simulation.

Refresh

Refreshes the notification information on the icon and in the Notifications window.

If new notifications are available, the count on the Notification icon changes.

Filter

Enables the Multi-Select Filter Mode.

Notification Table

Only if data in the simulation applications has been published, the table becomes populated. If nothing has been published, the table is empty.

The table contains following information which has been created / defined in the simulation application:

Source

Displays the source of the notification, the name of the simulation application.

Name

Displays the name of the simulation project that has been published.

Process Case / Snapshot

Displays the process case or the snapshot of the simulation used for distinguishing the process data properties.

Plant Area

Displays the plant area defined in the simulation application during the publishing process, for example, in AVEVA PRO/II Simulation.

Engineering Case

Displays the Process Case / Snapshot name if the process case or snapshot name matches an engineering case name. By default Base Case is displayed.

Message

Displays a message which has been defined within the simulation application.

Date & Time

Displays date and time when the notification has been published.

Expiry Time

Displays the time when the notification expires.

Notification count

Displays the number of notifications that are available for preview and import.

Import

Note:
The Import button becomes available, if a notification case is selected in the table.

Runs the import. The progress in the Importing [Project Name] window displayed.

If the import runs successfully, the success is displayed as follows.

If errors are identified during the import from PRO/II, the Error Log Button becomes available in the Importing window.

Error Log

Displays the Error log Window is displayed. For more information, see Error Log Window.

If an attribute is reported which can not be set, the mapping must be adjusted accordingly. For more information, see Set Individual Attribute Reported in Import Error Log.

If a second import has run and the application find differences between the simulation data and the engineering data, the Update Functional Objects window is displayed.

Yes

Displays the Compare and Update Window.

No

Ends the Import/Update process.

Preview & Import

Note:
The Preview & Import button becomes available, if a notification case is selected in the table.

Gets the data from the simulation applications. The progress in the Loading [Project Name] window displayed.

Once the data import is done the Unit Operations Import window is displayed. For more information, see Unit Operations Import Window.
