Export Data to Excel from Database

Exports data to a selected location in the format of an excel file using a database selection.
Use the Excel Export Wizard to define the mapped elements and attributes for the exported data.

Look in
Specifies where the configuration file is stored.
Configuration name
Specifies the name of the configuration file used for export.
Data mode
Exports the excel file using either Element type data or Database view(s) data.
Available elements for export can be displayed and selected.

Include
Defines the elements that are exported.
If the check box is selected, the elements is included in the export.
If the check box is not selected, the element is not included in the export.
Use Include all to select or deselect all check boxes.
Add a new row
Adds a new row to the grid. An additional worksheet can be defined and added to the export.
Delete selected rows
Deletes the currently selected rows.
Move the selected row up the grid
Moves the selected row up one position on the grid.
Move the selected row down the grid
Moves the selected down one position on the grid.
Populate the grid from a database view set
Populates the grid with a selection of database views using the Choose a Database View or View Set window. The functionality of the Choose a Database View or View Set window is identical to the Database Views Editor window.
Note:
The option is only available if database views are selected for export.
The exported Excel worksheets and the columns that display in each worksheet must be defined.

Worksheets
Displays the worksheets for export. The columns for the currently selected worksheet are displayed on the right side of the window.
Include
Defines the elements that are exported.
If the check box is selected, the element is included in the export.
If the check box is not selected, the element is not included in the export.
Use Include all to select or deselect all check boxes.
Add a new row
Adds a new row to the grid. An additional worksheet row can be defined and added to the export.
Add all attributes
Populates the grid with all database view attributes.
Delete selected rows
Deletes the currently selected rows.
Delete all rows
Deletes all rows from the grid.
Move the selected row up the grid
Moves the selected row up one position on the grid.
Move the selected row down the grid
Moves the selected down one position on the grid.
Select or deselect the appropriate check boxes to remove the leading slash from the NAME, OWNER, and Reference attributes.

Select or deselect the appropriate check boxes to save configuration changes, automatically close the export progress window when export is completed and to open the Excel worksheet when export is completed.

Use the Select Filename for Export File window to define the location and file name for the exported files.
