Transferring Updates from Off-line Locations

At the Satellite:

The Administrator at the Satellite will make sure that the subdirectories in the Transfer directory are empty

1. Select Utilities > Offline Transfer, and the Offline Data Transfer form will be displayed.

2. Set the Transfer Operation gadget to Export Data and click OK. All the databases allocated to the location will be copied to the Transfer directory.

   Transfer the data to the Hub.

At the Hub:

The Administrator at the Hub will make sure that the subdirectories in the Transfer directory for the appropriate off-line location are empty, and then load the media received from the Satellite and read the contents into the Transfer directory.

3. Select Utilities > Offline Transfer, and the Offline Data Transfer form will be displayed.

4. Set the Transfer Operation gadget to Import Data, select the location required in the Project Locations list, and click OK.

   If the databases in the Transfer directory contain more recent data than the databases in the project directory, then they will be copied over to the project directory.
