Model View World (MVIWLD) elements are used to store screen shots and the position of the observer at the time of creation. MVIWLD elements are stored in Cross Product Type databases.

Note:
MVIWLD elements are also used as storage when creating model views, using the MODVIEW functionality available in AVEVA E3D Design.

This enables anyone opening the comment to restore the content of the screen at is was when the comment was created. Thus enabling ease of communication about comments between users.

Create a Model View World

Use the Command window to create a new model view world element, new elements are created under the first writable MVIWLD element that is found in the selected database.

The command will create a MVIWLD element named PIPESCENES in the database PIPING/SCENES.
