4 Way Connected Inline Components

4 way inline components, for example, a valve, can be added at the cross intersection of a primary centerline and a secondary centerline.

Connected Items

When the 4 way connected component is added to the drawing canvas, it is positioned automatically, the component first connected attribute is associated with the primary centerline inlet connection point and the component second connected attribute is associated with the primary centerline outlet connection point.

To display the component first connected and component second connected attributes, select the inline component on the drawing canvas.

Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Component First Connected or Component Second Connected attribute.

Additional centerlines can be connected to the third and fourth connection points. For example, a secondary centerline or a signal line.

The piping component canhave piping node values indicate the piping connections of the 4 way inline component.

To display the piping component canhave piping node attributes, select the 4way inline component on the drawing canvas.

Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Piping Component CanHave Piping Node attribute.

Click ... to display the Piping connections window.
