Specify Name and Database View

Use the View tab to define the grid.

Name

Type the grid name in the field.

Description

Type the grid description in the field.

Category

Displays the category that the grid is associated with.

Can be published to AVEVA AIM

Defines export settings to AVEVA AIM.

If the check box is selected, grid data can be exported to AVEVA AIM.

If the check box is not selected, grid data cannot be exported to AVEVA AIM.

Visible in grid explorer

Defines the display settings in the Grids Explorer.

If the check box is selected, the grid displays in the Grids Explorer.

If the check box is not selected, the grid does not display in the Grids Explorer.

The functionality of the View Definition Set and Views part of the Create Grid window is identical to the Database Views Editor window.

Note:
The selected view cannot be changed once the grid has been created.
