Assign Glands

Specifies the glands attached to either end of a cable, or as spares.

Use the Assign cable glands window to assign the glands.

Cable Details

Displays the number, catalog cable and outer sheath diameter of the cable.

Available Cable Glands

Lists the cable glands available to be assigned to the cable.

Add

Adds the gland selected in the Available Cable Glands grid to the Selected Cable Glands grid.

Remove

Removes the gland selected in the Selected Cable Glands grid from that grid.

Selected Cable Glands

Lists the cable glands assigned to the cable.

Assign to all cable matching catalogue number

Specifies whether or not the selected gland or glands are to be applied to every cable that has the same cable catalog number as the current cable.

Include spares

If the selected gland or glands are to be applied to every cable that has the same cable catalog number as the current cable, Include spares specifies whether this includes those glands set as "spares".

Enabled when Assign to all cable matching catalog number is selected.

Gland Type

Specifies which cable end a selected gland is assigned to, or whether it is a spare.

Assign is disabled if any selected glands have a gland type of UNSET.

Quantity

Specifies the number of glands to be assigned of each selected type.
