An AVEVA E3D GUI module consists of a set of co-operating applications running within the Application Window.
There are two types of GUI module in AVEVA E3D. Some modules have PML menus with a main menu bar and a set of toolbars, and others have tabbed (ribbon) menus, with no toolbars.
Each module has:
-
A Main form to present the default application and to control access to the other applications.
-
One or more document forms usually displaying the application model.
-
Transient floating dialog forms that relate to specific tasks.
-
Docking dialog forms to provide frequently required services.
