Mappings

The Mappings window is populated with the mappings between the two selected models.

On the Data Model tab, in the View group, select Mappings to display the Mappings window.

By default, the View part of the window is displayed which can be used to view the mappings, search for a particular mapping context, automap objects, sort the mappings and view all mapped or unmapped objects.

The Edit Mapping part of the Mappings window is populated with the list of mappings, suggested mappings and current mappings. Use the Edit Mapping part of the Mappings window, to remove mappings from the current mappings area, add new mappings from the mappings list or from suggested mappings, edit properties, search, sort, automap and clear all mappings.

Select Mappable Types to display the Mappable Element Types window.

The Mappable Element Types window is populated with a list of available element types and a list of selected mappable element types. Use the Mappable Element Types window to add or remove the mappable element types which can be used in the Mappings window, or to restore the defaults. Element types that are currently in use are highlighted.
