This functionality is an administrative and can be used to add pre-defined shapes (circle square triangle or hexagon) which are then available for selection to the end user. The administrator can add a shape with text, a shape and a mapped attribute or if the shape is filled or left blank.

From the Toolbox, drag and drop the required shape into the desired cell in the datasheet template.

The Properties part of the datasheet template editor is now populated with the attributes of the pre-defined shape.

The attributes displayed are identical to all the other with the exception of the appearance attributes fill shape or lock fill shape attributes. The default for Fill State is None and Lock Fill State is False (if set to True the fill state cannot be modified by the end user).

Pre-defined shapes can be added to a cell which has text or a mapped attribute in the datasheet template.
