Creates a new drawing. The drawing name, drawing type and the drawing template can be specified.
If creating an auto-generated Termination Drawing or Loop Drawing, first select the equipment, enclosure or loop that the drawing is to be generated for.
Use the drop-down list to define the drawing type.

Use the Create new drawing window to specify the name for the new drawing.

If drawings of the drawing type are created using templates, use the Select Template window to select from the list of available templates.

The list of available templates can be filtered by template name or description.
The drawing is created using the selected template.
In the case of auto-generated Termination Drawings and Loop Drawings, the content of the drawing is automatically added to the drawing when it is created.
Note:
If the drawing is created using the Termination Drawing template, the start points
positioned outside of the defined template region are ignored.
An error message is displayed summarizing the problem.

Note:
If the drawing is created using the Termination Drawing template or the Loop Drawing
template, items on the drawing are represented using the symbol assigned to the library
instance of the item for that template. If no symbol has been assigned to the library
instance for the template, the default symbol for the item type as defined for the
template will be used instead.
If the drawing type is not associated with a template, then depending on the drawing type, the Select Drawing Border window may then be displayed to select a border for the created sheet.
Refer to Create Sheet and Bulk Creation for further information.
