Status Control is the ability to control and report on the status of individual model objects as they progress their lifecycles. It can be applied to any model objects, for example, tagged items, catalog components, drawings.
The desired project configuration is created with the use of a hierarchy of Status Configuration World, Status Definition Group, Status Definition and Status Value elements. A Status Configuration World element is a container for status definitions used to control and report on the status of individual model objects as they progress their life cycles.
