Export Settings

Use the Export tab to define:

  • the exported drawings, revisions and sheets

  • the export format

  • the destination directory for the exported files

Drawing Type

Use the drop-down list to specify the available drawing types for export.

If the check box is selected, the drawing type is available for export and displays in the drawings grid.

If the check box is not selected, the drawing type is not available for export and does not display in the drawings grid.

Select all

Selects all drawing types, drawings and sheets in the drawings grid.

Clear selection

Deselects all drawing types, drawings and sheets in the drawings grid.

Show revisions

Defines the display of drawing revisions in the drawings grid.

If the check box is selected, the drawing revisions are displayed in the drawings grid.

If the check box is not selected, the drawing revisions are not displayed in the drawings grid.

Drawings grid

Displays the drawing types, drawings, revisions and sheets that are available for export. The grid display can be filtered by the drawing name, border size, revision, revision date and file name using the drop down lists.

The check box adjacent to the drawing name column defines the drawing types, drawings, revisions and sheets that are exported.

If the check box is selected, the drawing type, drawing, revision or sheet is exported.

If the check box is not selected, the drawing type, drawing, revision or sheet is not exported.

Export to

Use the drop-down list to define the export format.

PDF

Exports the drawings to PDF format.

Plot File

Exports the drawings to PLT format.

CAD Formats

Exports the drawings to a CAD format. For example, DWG format.

Raster image

Exports the drawings to a raster format. For example, BMP format.

Destination directory

Defines the location for the exported drawings. Type an explicit location in the field or click Browse.

Use the standard Browse for Folder window to specify the folder to which the sheets are exported.

Export selected

Exports the drawings to the specified file format and location.

Note:
The CAD settings or rasterized settings must be saved before the drawing is exported.
