Wiring Rules

Use the Wiring Rules functionality to browse for and select the Cables World and prevent or allow direct assignment of wiring rules and terminal arrangements to equipment.

Use the Browse functionality to display the Select Cable World window, select from the displayed list or select from the Explorer displayed on the Explorer tab.

Use the Prevent direct assignment of terminal arrangements and wiring rules setting to prevent users directly assigning of terminal arrangements and wiring rules to equipment. Terminal arrangements and wiring rules must be assigned by assigning an appropriate library item.
