The properties of the currently selected records can be edited, use the Multi record edit window to define the records which are edited and specify the values that are modified.

The window lists all the columns in the grid.
Selected
Defines individual records to be edited.
If the check box is selected, the record is marked as edited.
If the check box is not selected, the record is not marked as edited.
Use the Select all check box to select or deselect all check boxes.
Value
Type or select the required value for each edited record.
Copy First Record’s Data to other Selected Records
Defines the setting of values to those of the first selected record in the list.
If the check box is selected, the values of the selected records are set to those of the first selected record in the list.
Note:
The first record does not necessarily mean the first (upper-most) listed record of
those selected, it means the first record that was selected when the selection of
multiple records was made.
If the check box is not selected, the values of the selected records are not set to those of the first selected record in the list.
