Function:
Updates one or more Project Database (DB) to the required versions.
Description:
When new versions of a product are applied to an existing Project created with an earlier version, the DBUPGRADE command updates the DB to allow any new functionality to be applied (written) to the selected DBs in the Project.
Note:
Once applied, the DBUP command cannot be reversed and so the Project may not work with earlier product versions.
Any special cases will be documented with the new product release.
Note:
The DBUP command supersedes the UPGRADE command, refer to UPGRADE (Reconfiguration). While the old reconfiguration option is still valid, the process takes longer.

DBUP PROJECT TO LATEST Upgrades all DB owned by the Projects (excludes foreign DBs) to the latest version. |

DBUP SYSTEM TO LATEST Upgrades the System DB to the latest version. |

DBUP GLOBAL TO LATEST Upgrades the Global DB to the latest version. |

DBUP DB team/dbname TO LATEST Upgrades the named DB to the latest version. The User can replace LATEST with a known upgrade which can be found using the Q UPGRADE LIST command. |

DBUP DB team/dbname TO LATEST OPTION CONFIRMED When specified in the product User Bulletin, some DBUP commands need to be CONFIRMED, for example: To allow 5000 DBs in and MDB. |
