Update an ENGITE with FUNITE data

Use this procedure to update an existing ENGITE with data from its associated FUNITE.

Prerequisites

An ENGITE exists and is linked to a FUNITE.

Procedure

1. Open the ENGITE that is linked to the FUNITE.

2. Select the items to update.

3. On the Simulation tab, in the Engineering Items group, select Update to display the Compare and update window.

   1. Select the required attributes, and then select Update.

      The system updates the ENGITE with the FUNITE data.

      Note:
      If the associated parts exist, the system updates mapped attributes.
      If associated parts do not exist but a Can Have part association is defined, the system propagates data to the associated parts and all its intermediate parts.
      For multi-cardinality association, the system updates all attribute instances.
