Create a Tab on the Ribbon

Functionality is available to create a tab on the ribbon, you can then display your existing PML commands on the created tab.

1. Start the application, right-click on the ribbon and select Customize to display the Customize window.

   

2. On the left-hand side of the Customize window, right-click on Tabs and select New Tab from the drop-down list to create a new tab.

3. Create a tab as per the following example:

   

   Note:
   Make sure the Name is identical to the defined context tab command. For further information, refer to Context Tab Command.

4. Create a group below the tab, you can then drag and drop the existing commands on the ribbon tab.

   

   Note:
   The tab is managed by the PMLCMD but can have a command of its own.

5. Apply the modifications to the Customize window and do a Save Work.
